Based in Berlin – Six Weeks of Exhibitions, Talks, Performances

Opening this Tuesday, Based in Berlin will present a comprehensive survey of emerging Berlin artists. Showing works by nearly 80 artists living and working in Berlin, the exhibition will encompass a full range of contemporary art practices, from painting and drawing to sculpture, photography, film and video, text and performances to installations. A diverse program featuring film screenings, concerts and artists talks scheduled each day will make a variety of artistic activities accessible to a wide audience. The central exhibition will take place at the studio building in Monbijoupark in Berlin Mitte, with the show extending to other locations including Berlinische Galerie, KW Institute for Contemporary Art and Hamburger Bahnhof.
