On Sunday, May 20 from 1–4:30pm bpigs will present the third edition of Speed Portfolio Viewing at Verein für Kunst und Kultur am Rosa Luxemburg Platz in the L40 building. Based on the structure of speed dating, curators are invited to review artists portfolios in 10 short sessions of 12 minutes each. In this context, bpigs will bring together artists and curators who have not met before and may appear of interest to each other.

The 10 curators are Anna Catharina Gebbers (Bibliothekswohnung), Susanne Prinz (Verein für Kunst und Kultur am Rosa Luxemburg Platz), Maud Piquion (Art Manager, Curator), Christiane Rekade (oslo10 curator), Laura Schleussner (Kunstverein Göttingen), Peter Lang (independent curator), Kathrin Becker (Neuer Berliner Kunstverein), Gitte Bohr (independent curator duo), Joanna Warsza (independent curator) and Megan Steinman (independent curator). Each curator will review 10 portfolios.
20 artists will be chosen based on their work and “compatability” with the participating curators. Each artist will meet 5 curators
The event is open to all disciplines, and bpigs advices the artists to consult the curators list as well as the vita and project information in the Curators Info Menu pdf on bpigs to see if it makes sense to apply in this particular event.
