This month, creative hub the WYE will host CYBERFEST: TIME & PLACE, a festival for technologically-based art that has been developing in Russia since 2007. This marks the first time the festival will be held outside of St. Petersburg. The WYE will showcase more than 100 innovators, including sound art, performances, film and video art and public exhibitions focussing on Berlin’s art and tech community and providing a survey of Russian contemporary art.

The 5 days of performances, screenings, workshops and symposia are free to the public and offer a great opportunity for cultural exchange with a wider group of international artists and creators. The opening reception will take place on November 13th at 8PM.

The WYE is an international art house opened in the iconic Deutsche Post building on Skalitzer Straße, in the heart of Kreuzberg. The space has been repurposed in order to provide studio space for artists and startups, as well as support residencies, exhibitions, events and workshops.
