Open Call for the 2019 Social Art Award

Nov. 29, 2019

The Institute for Art and Innovation initiative is inviting artists to apply for the Social Art Award 2019. The aim of the award is to promote social art, which can catalyse change in society, foster social, ecological or political impact and change. In honour of the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, the award organisers stress the power of peaceful revolutions and ask: does art have the power to catalyse change, peaceful revolutions and positive futures? Where does art take place? What forms of art are created? Where do we stand together, get inspired and empowered, and appreciate the freedom of art and the spirit of humanity?

Was this contest for just the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, or is it a yearly event. Please send information about this event. Thank you, Mary
