Berlin Masters is a funding platform that annually organises a curated exhibition for young artists, under the age of 30, who live and work in Berlin. The platform was founded in 2013 by the art expert, Matthias Arndt, and is currently inviting young artists to present their work to the curator and advisory board members. Artists working in sculpture, film, installation, photography, painting, media art, performance, video and/or drawing are welcome to apply.
Applicants should register with the Foundation and will then be invited to appear in person at the Open Call one day between April 2–4, 2020, where they should present their curriculum vitae (including scholarships, awards, list of exhibitions and participations in exhibitions) and documentation/information material or portfolio of previous artistic work. Each applicant will have 10 minutes to present their work in front of a jury, who will then select 10–12 artists to be included in the curated exhibition ‘Berlin Masters 2020,’ taking place from October 22–31, 2020.
Deadline: Mar. 22, 2020
