After a successful 35th festival edition in 2019, with more than 23,000 people attending, Interfilm Festival is looking for submissions for this year’s edition of the festival in November. 6000 film entries are expected again in 2020, of which more than 400 will be selected and curated for numerous competitions and special programs. Films will also be presented to eager audiences at cinemas and diverse venues.
Interfilm Festival is looking forward to a rich spectrum of narrative excellence and critical voices as well as curiosities from all over the globe. For six festival days in seven competitions and various special and focus programs, contemporary short film will be celebrated in all its facets.
An ambitious, versatile program has always been Interfilm’s trademark, with particularly exciting, diverse and outstanding productions of all genres and formats from all over the world thereby forming the basis of their curatorial work. The submission process for the 36th edition is handled via Shortfilmdepot.com and this year there is a submission fee of €8.
