Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018

The Nida Art Colony of the Vilnius Academy of Arts (NAC) in Lithuania has an open call for emerging and experienced artists, designers, architects, curators and researchers. Three different residencies provide opportunities for individual artists and PhD candidates and a fourth residency provides an opportunity to artists specifically from Egypt. The atmosphere at the Colony changes with each season, but there will always be at least seven people staying at NAC and a maximum of 70.

The residencies, which occur for varying lengths of time throughout the year, include housing and studios in the midst of a coastal pine forest. Each of the five residency studios are 65 square meters and two floors. Professional workshops and support, well-equipped spaces and an artistic community are present year-round. Some residencies cost 400€ per month, while others are free.
