Mark Peckmezian’s images are recognizable through his elegant portraits and his bold and unique snapshot aesthetic. His photographs are often presented as tactile, physical objects through his ripping of edges, displayed test strips and his inclusion of dust and creases. With a theatrical nature, the work maintains a spontaneity and playfulness, while simultaneously being able to articulate a specific moment or deep emotion. Mark’s work has been published by numerous magazines including Bloomberg Businessweek, Vogue, The New Yorker, Wired and the New York Times. Originally from Canada, Mark is now based in New York City.
