Applications for the 21st Arte Laguna Prize are now open. The Arte Laguna Prize is a Venice-based International Contemporary Art Contest that supports emerging artists by offering a range of financial and professional opportunities. 120 artists will be selected for an exhibition to take place at the historic Arsenale Nord in Venice from November 6th to November 29th, 2026.
The Arsenale Nord of Venice, a symbol of the power of the Serenissima Republic and now fully restored, offers 3,000 square meters of exhibition spaces. The contest categories are painting, sculpture and installation, photographic art, video art and short films, performance and acting (theater and film), digital art, digital graphics and cartoons, land art, urban art and street art and art design. Applications are open to artists worldwide.

Participants also have the chance to win a cash prize of €10,000 and access numerous Special Prizes through international residencies, galleries, companies and universities, including MoCA Art Residency (Venice), BigCi (Australia), NY20+ (Chengdu), The Swath Art Peace Hotel (Shanghai), Studio 76 (Bucharest), FOMAS Group and Gabe Tenute (Italy) and Università Ricardo Palma (Lima, Peru). Participants can also gain international visibility through selling their works on the online platform artelaguna.world.
The international jury, which changes annually, is composed of leading curators and museum directors from various countries. Among the jurors of the 21st edition are Yuko Hasegawa (Japan), Hélio Menezes (Brazil) and Gianluigi Ricuperati (Italy), with new jurors to be announced soon.
