Open Call for Curators // The Fact Finder 2018 Exhibitions

Berlin // Saturday, Nov. 25, 2017

The Fact Finder invites curators to introduce their curatorial practices with the prospect of future collaborations.

The Fact Finder is a Berlin-based, artist-run space dedicated to works that rely on unmediated, first-hand experiences the artists go through while aiming to better understand a specific topic, fact or everyday life aspect. Field research / immersive journalism / flâneurism / archiving / voyaging / empathising are some examples of the processes we regard as fact-finding missions, among others. Our focus is on works involving a long-term commitment, preferably having an archiving/serial character and reflecting the strong engagement of their authors in communicating their findings.

If you are a curator whose practice and interests resonate with The Fact Finder, the following can be sent directly to info@thefactfinder.de:
▪ Curatorial Resume (PDF file)
▪ Additional documentation (attached images, videos or links)
▪ Proposed project for the Fact Finder (exhibition period 2018-2019)

For each exhibition, The Fact Finder will offer technical support, promotion, and production budget subject to potential funding, discussed on a case-by-case basis.
