The Julia Stoschek Collection will be sponsoring two studio scholarships for artists with a focus on time-based media art, for the period of one year, beginning January 2018. Fifteen studio spaces for up to 30 artists are currently being built in the former State Criminal Police Office in Düsseldorf’s Unterbilk district, under the project name LKART.
The selected artists should be based in the Rhineland and under 40 years of age. The studio scholarships will cover the whole cost of the space, including the cost of an Internet connection and cleaning of the communal areas. Winners will be selected before the Christmas holiday period.
