Open Call // Filmideo Call for Film and Video Work

Filmideo is calling for art submissions for the 9th Annual Film and Video Screenings taking place on September 27th 2014.

Filmideo is a yearly event, that celebrates the great diversity and work of independent filmmakers and video artists from around the globe. For an entire month, the Index Art Center transforms it’s gallery space into a screening theater, where artists’ works are projected onto a 10’ x10’ screen and viewed by audiences of up to 100 people per screening. They accept works by local, national and international artists.

Deadline for submissions: August 25

Requirements:
– Work should be no longer than 30 minutes.
– Media submitted should be high quality format.
– High Definition submission are encouraged.
– Web based submissions are acceptable. (submissions via Vimeo are preferred)
– If you would like to submit more than one piece, include all links in one email message.
– Send an email if you need to submit via a different service.
– Youtube previews are welcome.
– ALL genres will be accepted.

1) Your name
2) State or Country of origin
3) Phone and e-mail
4) Title/ length of work
5) Brief description

INDEX ART CENTER
Index Art Center is a 501 (c3) non-profit contemporary arts organization dedicated to supporting and promoting visual arts in Newark, NJ. Collaborating with schools and other non-profit organizations to provide educational and community-based programs in an active art gallery, IAC serves as both a critical link between art and community and as a conduit for up and coming artists.
