Founded in Sept. 2010 by Anna Russ and Monica Salazar, BERLIN ART LINK is the city’s go-to resource for discovering the best of the contemporary art scene in Berlin and abroad.

Through operating BERLIN ART LINK, we have produced an innovative business platform for staying in contact with the local and international visual arts, performance, design, architecture and fashion industries. BERLIN ART LINK’s online platform focuses on documented studio visits and additionally highlighting the contemporary art scene in Berlin and abroad with interviews, articles, selected week event listings and a daily blog. Updated daily by a distinguished and international roster of photographers, artists, critics, curators, and journalists, BERLIN ART LINK diligently engages with the city’s dynamic contemporary art scene.

Drawing upon our professional backgrounds in global event management, logistics, art history and design, we have expanded our network through North America, Europe and the Middle East and knowledge of these regional art markets. BERLIN ART LINK realizes art events, projects, media content and travel services through connecting individuals, corporations and non-profit organizations with a network of international art professionals and creative resources.

Monica Salazar, Director
Monica brings over nine years of professional experience in international corporate event planning, public relations and marketing to Berlin Art Link. As an avid traveller with an expansive network, her concept for the company originated from her interest in bridging this body of professional experience with her passion for contemporary art. Prior to arriving in Berlin, Monica additionally assisted in coordinating and executing events for the Dallas Art Dealer’s Association and Nasher Sculpture Museum.

Anna Russ, Director
Anna contributes a wealth of knowledge from her rich professional background in creative industries which includes working at the State Museum, Kunstbibliothek Berlin; Assistant Curator at Hunchentoot Galerie in Berlin, and co-owner of Kim Bar in Berlin, a minimally chic, artistic Mitte hot-spot located along Brunnenstrasse. Her in-depth experience in local business and arts contributes to BERLIN ART LINK’s specialized knowledge of the Berlin art scene. A native German, Anna is also fluent in English and French.
