ARTCONNECT BERLIN’s 1st Anniversary Weekend Celebration

This week, ArtConnect Berlin will celebrate its first anniversary with a weekend of art and music from August 9th – 12th. The event will kick off with an exhibition opening at the ArtConnect HQ on Thursday evening. On Saturday, ACB will host a Users’ Breakfast and fundraising art auction, with donations of work by a collection of Berlin-based artists such as Reynold Reynolds, KLUB7, and Peaches. The auction will be followed by a DIGITS concert and after party at Loophole. On Saturday and Sunday there will be an ongoing exhibition of work by select ACB Users, in partnership with galleries Idrawalot and Kaleidoskop.

ArtConnect is a networking platform for creative professionals in the city to connect with each other. Launched in August 2011, it has grown to over 2,300 users. It now offers a blog with reviews of recent art openings as well as a Creative Agency, linking art professionals with potential employers. Offline, Artconnect hosts workshops and events at its headquarters on Boddinstrasse in Neukölln.
