Pret A Diner: A Moveable Feast

Pulling back the red velvet curtain, stepping behind the painted backdrop, and past the brightly lit stage, Pret A Diner returns to Berlin to celebrate their third anniversary of stimulating the senses and rustling the imagination. Cleverly enacting their current theme of “Backstage,” the traveling culinary establishment has momentarily settled in Opernwerkstätten, an abandoned prop factory.

In cooperation with Berlin’s Circle Culture Gallery, “Backstage” will also feature an exhibition entitled “Ephemeral,” curated by Johann Haehling von Lanzenauer. The dining space will be graced with art lingering around the themes of passing and impermanence, where fourteen international artists will consider questions of time, history, progressions of life, and the meaning of finite existence in the context of endlessness.

With a roster of fine dining masters, including award-winning and Michelin star holding chefs, Pret A Diner‘s decadent, six-week programme invites the appetite to relish in temptation, evoking the momentary magic of theatrical transformation and enticing the passions in evenings of culinary and creative bliss.
