abc art berlin contemporary opens September 18th with its 6th annual art fair at Station Berlin. Over 100 international galleries will be participating in this year’s fair, presenting works by a wide variety of established and emerging contemporary artists. Within this presentation format the majority of the works on view will be new or enjoying their debut.

abc’s program also foregrounds time-based works, including performances, musical contributions, artist’s talks and theater plays. A new feature for the 2014 edition will be a special ‘Gallery Nights’ two-evening series,showcasing a selection of Berlin galleries. During the week of abc, these galleries will open their exhibitions to the public on the evenings of Wednesday, September 17 (Mitte and Kreuzberg galleries) and Friday, September 19 (Schöneberg and Charlottenburg).
