The beo_Project, existing as the first international multi-disciplinary project space in the Savamala District of Belgrade and founded by Zara Audiello, is offering a residency program for 2016. The aim of the residency is to offer the chance for applicants to form a connection between the international artistic world and the Balkan region, as well as the opportunity to immerse into the Belgrade art scene, sharing ideas and work. Exhibitions, events, workshops and collaborations are all welcomed parts of the residency, giving applicants across a range of approaches the chance to share their works.
Whether the work you wish to create is inspired by, made in, themed around or based within Belgrade; whether it’s a new project or series that concerns the city or a retrospective of your existing work that you’d like to share with a Belgrade-based audience, the beo_project welcomes your application. Artists from all visual art backgrounds, architects, designers, art historians and curators are encouraged to get in touch.
The Residency, which lasts a duration of your choice between April and September 2016, starts at €450 per month for accommodation in a Yugoslavian designed apartment and private or shared studio space with free wi-fi and breakfast.
The application deadline is Friday March 11th 2016.
