SEA Foundation – AiR Tilburg is inviting applicants for its 2020/2021 residency program in the Netherlands. The residencies are designed for visual artists, curators and writers whose work and life demands both a rigorous engagement as well as an urgency to propel progress in their practice. The SEA Foundation’s individually shaped residency program is limited to 8 participants per year, with a duration up to 3 months.

The SEA Foundation is seeking candidates who envision a solid plan for development and production. The open call is for professional artists, curators and art writers, with an established, mid-career, or emerging practice; regardless of gender or region. All applicants must be 25 at the start of the residency and it is expected that the applicant sufficiently comprehends the English language in order to converse and collaborate with fellow participants and staff. Duos and collectives are also welcome to apply and residents may be accompanied by a partner.
