Art Parade by Getränke Hoffmann has extended their open call for work until March 12, 2021. Hoffmann started this campaign with the intention of promoting the local Berlin art scene. This creative competition endeavours to bring the Art Parade competition to life by inviting artists to redesign a vehicle in the Hoffmann delivery fleet. Ten participants will be chosen by a jury of artists and personalities from the Berlin art scene such as Hans Peter Adamski, Leo Kuelbs, Annabelle Mandeng, Kimo von Rekowski, Anna Russ, Axel Schreiber, Yasha Young as well as Mario Benedikt, managing director of Getränke Hoffmann. The ten chosen participants will receive a flat-fee of €300 for materials. A public vote will choose the top three winners, for whom the prize will be the branding of a truck from the Getränke Hoffmann delivery fleet as well as 6,000 Euros, 4,000 Euros, and 2,000 Euros respectively.
In order to apply you must submit two to three works that represent your practice generally, as well as a partial visualization or sketch of your work of art for your Art Parade entry along with a corresponding description. All genres of work are welcome, including graphic design, painting, graffiti, cartoon, collage, etc. The work must include the colour palette of the Getränke Hoffmann brand as well as a contextual connection to their established style or products.
